Meet The Digital Pirate
Meet G Rockett Phillips, aka Nash Rockett—a digital nomad who’s seen some shit, now slinging digital gold at thedigitalpirate.com. He’s lived a wild ride, from radio mics to Hollywood lights, heart surgery to beachside podcasts. Rockett’s a pirate with a purpose: pillaging AI brilliance, applying it to real life, and sharing the spoils with his crew. Here’s his story, and the services he’s offering to help folks gut their chaos and build their own empire.

🚀 Rockett: The Digital Pirate of the Emerald Coast
Bold as a cannon blast and sharp as a first-principles framework, Rockett is a creative force of nature who’s survived open-heart surgery, the collapse of a career, and the wreckage of modern bureaucracy — only to rise again, branding himself with fire, grit, and Adobe fonts.
Based in Florida, he captures sunlit memories as a portrait photographer by day and reprograms mindsets through AI-powered problem-solving by night. Whether he’s building a faceless YouTube empire, ghostwriting like a rebel monk, or channeling Elon Musk into a digital product funnel — Rockett’s motto is clear: “Launch messy. Refine later.”
A recovering radio renegade once nominated for Billboard’s Morning Show Personality of the Year, Rockett now blends humor, outrage, and insight into podcast gold and Instagram heat. His projects range from WWED.ai (What Would Elon Do?) to The Digital Pirate, all wired with bite-sized wisdom and built for modern misfits trying to unf*ck their lives.
He thinks in frameworks, dreams in thumbnails, and lives for the dopamine of a job done just well enough to ship. ADHD? Dyslexia? He’ll out-think you in tangents. He doesn’t wait for opportunity — he reverse-engineers it.
Rockett’s History—Decades of Grit and Glory
- Rock ‘n Roll DJ (Late ‘60s-Early ‘70s): At 18, he kicked off his media career on WMC-FM100 Memphis—trolled radio audiences nationwide at WRBC Jackson, WHBQ Memphis, WSGN Birmingham, WBMJ San Juan, WJDX/WZZQ Jackson. He spun tunes and stirred trouble.
- Actor—G Rockett Phillips (’70s-’80s): He lit up screens on One Life to Live, Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives, plus guest spots on Taxi, Knight Rider, Hill Street Blues, Flamingo Road. Rockett played the game, Hollywood-style.
- Los Angeles Photography Studio (’80s): He shot actor headshots to pay the bills—became the go-to guy for stars chasing their big break.
- Career Pivot—Morning Radio Crazee (’90s): His Rockett in the Morning Show on KQKQ/Sweet 98 scored a Billboard Morning Show Personality of the Year nomination. He brought the noise!
- Godfather of the Podcast (1998): After a contract dispute, he took his radio show to the internet—the first live podcast ever. Crashed hard, but he pioneered the game.
- Rockett Studios Arizona (2000s): He moved the photography biz to Scottsdale, AZ, shooting for POST USA Magazine. Desert vibes, big dreams.
- Hello, Nashville Calling (2010s): He became Nash Rockett, launched The Daily Nash and The Almost Famous podcasts. Music City welcomed him back.
- Knock, Knock—Heart Scare (2010s): An emergency triple coronary bypass hit hard. He survived, thrived—all good now, just a little Frankenstein’d.
- Destin Days (2020s): He relocated the podcast and photography studio (destinfamilyportraits.com) to the sugar-white beaches of the Gulf Coast. However; there is a ‘rumah’ (homage to Doc Holliday in Tombstone) he’s plotting a Nashville return.

Rockett’s a pirate who’s lived chaos—radio & television glory, online flops, bypass scars, digital rebirth. Now he’s in Destin, FL, building an online empire; one PDF, one t-shirt, one mini-course at a time. Join his crew—let’s pillage the future together. Voice is power, chaos is fuel, and he’s got the map to make it happen. 🏴☠️
The Day the Beast Came
~a note from Rockett
Three years ago, I wasn’t in a studio, or behind a camera.
I was racing up my apartment stairs after a wonderful Christmas with family.
The demon was unseen to me…but he made his presence known.
Like a talon-clawed beast shoved his paw deep into my chest. Knocked me to my knees. Literally.
I knew exactly what it was.
Off to the ER.
Heart cath. Ever had one? Big time fun. (oh…but I hadn’t a clue what ‘big time fun’ had in store for me)
I awakened from the cath and the Doc explained to my LAD was so clotted he couldn’t even pass the catheter through. (Bad diet? Or something else?) And, then my greatest fear, came to life…I swear a hologram of a savage beast formed in a mist behind him, as he spoke…
“Rockett, you’re gonna need a coronary bypass. Right away. Three of them.”
(At that point I realized the ‘beastly thing’ I was seeing in the mist was prolly the sedation wearing off.)
“Well, whoa. Tap the brakes there, Doc. How critical is this?”
“Very.”
“Well…uh…when?”
“If it were me…I would have had it done last week.”
It was a short, sobering conversation.
What followed was a triple bypass, months of recovery, due to complications. It is no joke, and no exaggeration. They literally Frankenstein you in that procedure.
They turn you OFF!
With their grand skills and God’s Grace…they were able to turn me back on.
~~~
That’s when I made a decision to build The Digital Pirate.
Not to chase glory, but to teach myself clarity.
To show how you rebuild from zero — and make it mean something.
This image of me? My worst nightmare. Thirty-five years ago, I watched my Dad go through the exact same thing. The image of his suffering haunted me…all my life.
Then suddenly…it was my turn. Sometimes, life throws elbows.
This was the day I surrendered my fear. Know what I learned?
We are hella stronger than we ever imagine. 🏴☠️
