I’m G Rockett Phillips, aka Rockett, sometimes even Nash Rockett—a Boomer who’s seen some shit, both the good and the bad, over decades of riding this wild earth.

I was honored to have written & produced ‘Railroads Are Forever, The Johnny Cash Story’…a 13-hour radio documentary that was aired worldwide. Spent a bunch of time on American TV—episodics like Knight Rider, Hill Street Blues, & Flamingo Road. Was a daytime TV heartthrob for a fast minute on soaps like One Life to Live, Days of Our Lives, & Guiding Light.

I’ve been a radio king with Rockett in the Morning Show, Billboard-nominated for my pop culture rants and hit music. I pioneered the first podcast in 1998—and actually sold it in a million dollar stock deal on a Monday. And by Friday…it had crashed hard & burned. (We tried to sue the bastard & found there were literally FORTY suits ahead of us.)

Then life hit harder: divorce, diabetes, a small business unalived by that beast from Wuhan called Covid. And just when I thought I was clear…I found myself on the receiving end of an emergency triple-bypass that Frankenstein’d me.

I’ve seen glory and grit, from New York City to Hollywood – from Destin dive bars to Nashville stages, and I’m here to tell you—this is the most exciting time in history to be alive. What’s available, what’s accomplishable—it’s a treasure chest, and I’m pillaging it, pirate-style.
